Privacy Policy

Bingi helps you track your shows and rotate your streaming subscriptions. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Bingi is operated by Marigold ONE11 ("Bingi", "we", "us"), based in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Bingi is currently offered only to users in the United States. We keep this policy plain because the product is plain: we collect what we need to tell you which streaming services you actually need each month, and nothing we can avoid.

The short version: We collect your email, the shows you track, the services you tell us you pay for, and how you use the app. We use it to build your rotation plan and reminders. We never sell your personal information, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the product needs to work:

Account information
Your email address, created when you sign up. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito; we store your email and an internal user ID.
Your watchlist
The movies and shows you add to track, and the priority you give each one (watching now, up next, someday).
Your streaming subscriptions
The services you tell us you subscribe to, the plan and the price you pay (including any price you enter yourself), your renewal day, and pins or vetoes you set.
Reminder & activity data
Your interactions with the rotation plan and toggle reminders — for example, when you mark a cancel or resubscribe as done, which feeds your savings ledger.
Billing status
If you subscribe to Bingi Plus or Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe on the web. We store your subscription tier and status and a Stripe customer reference. We do not collect or store your card number — Stripe handles payment details.
Technical & usage data
Standard information such as device type, app version, IP address, and product-interaction events used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

If you join our waitlist on bingi.me before creating an account, we collect the email you submit (and, if you use a referral link, the referral code) to manage the waitlist and send you launch updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to run Bingi:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer. If Bingi is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Analytics & cookies

Our marketing website (bingi.me) uses Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, general location, and referral source. This uses cookies and similar technologies. We do not run third-party advertising pixels. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, no opt-out of "sale" is required; you can still block cookies in your browser, and we honor recognized browser privacy signals where applicable.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your identity and product data promptly (see below). We may retain a minimal set of records where required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, Stripe retains its own transaction records as required by law.

Wherever you live, you can:

Depending on your U.S. state of residence, you may have additional rights — to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising any right. To make a request, email support@bingi.me; we will verify your request through your account email.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your Bingi account and data at any time — in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by request. Full instructions and exactly what is removed are on our Delete your account page.

8. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, managed authentication, least-privilege access controls, and a serverless architecture that stores as little as possible. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Bingi to minimize what could ever be exposed.

9. Children's privacy

Bingi is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Bingi evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of Bingi after an update means you accept the revised policy.
